Art can help us connect to our sensory experience, stimulate our curiosity and encourage reflection.

Looking at artworks can help us increase our observation skills, notice the stories we construct around them, and connect with the emotions they inspire.

Engaging mindfully with a creative activity can provide us with a rich opportunity to view our judgements and notice what it may be like to respond to these with kindness.

This workshop will explore a variety of ways to use visual arts practice as a way of supporting the teaching of mindfulness skills and concepts. Through a range of creative mindfulness practices, we will experience how art can help us to unpack our experience and facilitate conversations around mindfulness and wellbeing.

This workshop is open to any professionals who teach mindfulness or compassion based approaches as part of their work.

Please use the Eventbrite booking process for this workshop to make a preliminary booking.

We will then contact you with details of how to pay the deposit for a firm reservation.
